A helping hand to Exchange Students and other visitors
The Mates Program designates UFABC students to offer support to international students and researchers newly arrived at the University, assisting in their reception and stay at UFABC. Partnered up with a mate, the foreigner can better understand the daily routine of the University, Brazilian culture in general, as well as meet new people and deal with documents and bureaucratic issues.
To participate in the program, international students must fill in an online form to provide some personal and academic information. In a few days, the International Affairs Office and the selected UFABC students will get in touch.
