The main objective of International Cooperation Agreements is to establish academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation between UFABC and foreign institutions, allowing mobility, research, and cooperation in general.
They are of fundamental importance in the UFABC Internationalization process, promoting opportunities to expand academic and scientific knowledge, research and innovation development, in addition to providing intercultural experiences to improve knowledge and social growth.

Academic Mobility Agreement
After signing a General Agreement, there is the possibility of strengthening the partnership with the foreign institution through an Academic Mobility Agreement, which provides for the exchange of students from both Universities with exemption from fees. Postgraduate Double Degree Agreement
Postgraduate Double Degree agreements may be the development of a General Cooperation Agreement, but do not necessarily have to be signed only after the signing of a General Agreement. In this model, the agreement has as annexes the terms of commitment of the students who will actually request to obtain the double degree. The Postgraduate Double Degree Agreement model is available in the following version:

Intellectual Property Agreement
IP agreements are generally used when a research project will be developed jointly with another international institution to determine the general terms in case of discoveries. Intellectual Property Agreement are managed by UFABC’s Innovation Agency.
